About

My Story

Physician, founder, author, and podcast host — working at the intersection of medicine, entrepreneurship, and physician finance.

Chapter 01

First-Generation Journey

I am a first-generation college graduate. Long before residency, building a career in medicine meant figuring out an unfamiliar system without a map. That experience shapes everything I build today — for the students and trainees who don't have anyone to show them how it works.

Chapter 02

Education and Medical Training

I am currently an Emergency Medicine resident physician. EM trains you to operate under pressure, synthesize incomplete information, and make decisions fast — skills that translate directly to building products and companies.

Chapter 03

Why Physician Financial Literacy Matters

Most physicians graduate with six figures of debt and almost no formal training in compensation, contracts, or wealth building. That gap quietly shapes the careers — and lives — of an entire profession. Closing it is one of the highest-leverage problems I know.

Chapter 04

Why I Started a Business in Residency

Clinical practice gives you a front-row seat to everything that needs to change in healthcare. The more patients I cared for, the clearer it became that entrepreneurship was the path to actually shape and improve the system — not just work inside it. I started building because I wanted to have a real impact beyond the bedside.

Chapter 05

Entrepreneurship During Residency

Founding PayScopeMD, hosting The Resident Founder, and writing a book during residency forced me to design my life around clarity, focus, and leverage. I share what I'm learning publicly so other physicians can do the same.
